Virginia Politics Reporter - August 2018-December 2018

iPadJournos program at VCU, partnered with WTVR-CBS 6 - Richmond, VA

 

  • Worked with other student reporters for WTVR-CBS 6 to cover Virginia’s 2018 midterm election cycle through published online content and social media use.

  • Interviewed congressional and senatorial candidates from around VA about campaigns, policy issues, etc.; constituents at campaign events, debates and at the polls on Election Day; covered public events such as campaign rallies and marches, live debates, candidate’s election night parties, etc.

  • Wrote and published articles, produced supplemental multimedia such as short video packages, took photos for headers and photo galleries and reported events, poll results, etc. live on social media.
